Karengo, Nutritional Benefits

Karengo benefits are related to its rich nutritional value. Even before it was scientifically measured, various nations have used it in their traditional fare to supplement their diet in much-needed minerals & vitamins. More recently, it's been found to have other beneficial effects on health.

Karengo - nori family - is one of the highest in protein of all seaweeds.
It is also rich in calcium, iodine, iron, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, porphyran, copper, zinc and vitamins A, B complex, C, E and K. Though nori- varieties have long been considered to be an important source of vitamin B12 for vegans, there is controversy about its biological availability to humans.
