This Manuka Smoked Sea Salt makes a delicious aromatic seasoning with a unique change of taste complemented by an appetizing nut-brown colour. Use as a seasoning in cooking or sprinkle on seafood, poultry, meats, vegetables, focaccia breads and other dishes for a delicate smoke-cured flavour.

Comes in a fine grind, although not as fine as the table salt; best served in a grinder for the table. Keep very dry. If salt absorbs moisture, dry contents in a warm oven.

Health & Nutrition

Pacific Harvest Smoked Sea Salt contains all the natural ingredients present in natural Sea Salt. It is higher levels of Calcium, Magnesium and other minerals than normal table salt, as these minerals are also naturally present in seawater. Smoked salt differs from smoke-flavoured salt as the latter contains a smoke flavoured additive and is not classified as a natural salt product.

Label & Warnings

This salt is totally natural which means that the iodine content is minimal. Iodine is an important mineral for health and can be found in seaweed (the best source in nature), fish and shellfish. Alternatively, we prepare 'kelp salt', where natural sea salt is combined with kelp from NZ to add bio-available iodine (and many other nutrients) to the salt.
